I grew up on a farm by Wilmont, MN and graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, Wilmont in 1968. I attended Southwest State University; Marshall, MN and graduated in 1971 with an Elementary Education degree. My Husband Don and I were married in August 1971. My husband still farms by Reading, MN and we live in Worthington. I began teaching in Brewster, MN for 4 years (1971-1975) Title 1 reading and Math for 3 years and first grade teacher for 1 year. I then taught first grade in Worthington, MN for 40 years and I retired in May, 2015. In 2016 I began working with Winora Hallstrom and since 2017 I started planning and escorting day trips for Ride the Reading Line Tours. I have really enjoyed meeting and getting to know the people on my trips and also visiting the many towns/cities in our area.
